Next Day Delivery in Phoenix is a scam

Did you receive a notice on your door from a Next Day Delivery company with barely any information?
From phone number 602-363-2053.
Don't call this number. This is a marketing scam. They claim they have a "Welcome Wagon" package for you and then congratulate you on your new home purchase.
They immediately ask for your name and phone number so they can put you in the marketing scam database.
What they are doing is actually trying to get you to purchase an alarm or other services that they have contracted with.

I recently just purchased a home and I had one of those notes stuck on my front door. I was confused and called the number thinking it was legit. But no one ever answers and ever since I HAVE been recieving sales calls.
ReplyDeleteNew home, I got the same note. Two men in a small silver vehicle stopped in front and left that note along with a door hanger advertisement. They didn't knock or ring, just left the note.

Very fishy, and not to mention questionable business tactics.
I just got the same note too. New number though 602-362-2053. Had both my wife's name and mine. Their website is almost too simple for a delivery company. I was suspicious of the note from the beginning.
ReplyDeleteWe recently just moved into our new home, and they have been leaving these at my door. Fortunately, I have not called them, nor will I be doing so after reading these comments. It's just annoying that they go out of their way to trick us into giving our contact information to the dark marketing industry.
ReplyDeleteThank you for this. BTW their phone number and style of the noticed has changed. The number on mine is 602-603-4117. When you try ti click Reschedule Delivery on their website it won;t let you. This is a total scam.
ReplyDeleteThey got me. I gave them my email and name. Does anyone know who we can report this too? I check the better business bureau, but of course they are not listed there. Any advice? Call police, or anything, or just hope my gmail account can keep up with the increased spam mail now? They basically got me because I was expecting a delivery this afternoon, so I thought they had tried to deliver it early and I had missed it . . .
ReplyDeleteThey are still up to it! Just got the same notice on my door today. I was expecting a package and called the number and put in the confirmation number, great!! :-(
ReplyDeleteI just got one of these on my door, went to their website and entered confirmation number and phone which the system abruptly rejected me. I now know this was scam to capture my number, unfortunately for these fools, I gave them a bogus number. If they return to my home and I catch them I'll be telling them to get off my property.

DeleteIf you live in AZ, please be aware that the Arizona Attorney General has filed a lawsuit against this company, and that you should also file a complaint with the Attorney General. You can fill out the PDF complaint on line, print it out, take scan with your phone and email it in.

Just moved into our home this past weekend. We got the same thing on our door. It has my husbands name on it. It’s so creepy how they have our names already. Our form looks a little different and has the phone number 602-610-2169. I’m glad I did some research before calling them.

ReplyDeleteWhile one the line with them, I googled their website and saw that it is a scam. I immediately hung up but not before giving them my email address and phone number.
